[origin: US4765176A] A tool for mounting cable end sleeves on the ends of cables, the tool having two profiled clamping jaws which can be pressed against a cable end sleeve by means of two pliers arms via a toggle joint. The sleeves to be mounted form an end sleeve magazine together with a carrier which, at the time of the opening of the tool, is transported along by means of a jump feed device.

Das Werkzeug hat zwei profilierte Pressbacken (36), die über ein Kniehebelgelenk (33) mittels zweier Zangenhebel (1,2) gegen eine Kabelendhülse (23) gepresst werden können, um die Endhülse (23) auf ein abisoliertes Kabelende aufzupressen. Die zu montierenden Hülsen (23) bilden mit einem Träger (20) ein Endhülsenmagazin (12), das jeweils beim Oeffnen des Werkzeuges mittels einer Schrittschalteinrichtung (10,11) weitertransportiert wird.
