1. Lock for a door, window or the like - with a latch (3), movable between an opening and a closing position, and connected with a stop oriented against the closing direction, as well as - with a first handle (28) and a second handle (14), which are arranged opposed to each other on both sides of the door and are rotatable about a common axis (M) and each of which are tensionally connected with an arm (11, 11a) engaging the stop, so that the rotation from the resting position in a first sense of rotation (y) over the arm (11, 11a) and the stop causes a pull-back of the latch (3) from the closing position, - so that the latch (3) by twisting the first handle (28) out of the resting position, contrary to the first sense of rotation (y), and independent thereof can be blocked from the side of the door opposite to the first handle (28), characterized in that - it comprises a locking bar (21) suitable for blocking the latch (3) in the closed position, as well as - a lower segment (29) with a first top of cam (30), rigidly connected to the first handle (28), which top (30) by twisting the handle is suitable for shifting from the rest position against the first sense of rotation (y) shifts the closing bar (21) into the blocking position, and - an upper segment (15, 12a) twistable at least from the side of the door opposite to the first handle (28), that carries a top of cam, which by twisting the upper segment (15, 12a) out of a position against the first sense of rotation (y) also is suitable for shifting the locking bar (21) in the blocking position.

Zum Oeffnen des Schlosses (R) wird durch Senken der Klinken (14) in die Lage (14') die Falle (3) mittels eines um die Schwenkachse der Klinken schwenbaren Segments mit einem Arm (11) zurückgeschoben. Um das Schloss (R) verriegeln zu können, kann die Klinke (14) in die Lage (14") angehoben werden. Hierdurch wird durch ein die Schwenkachse der Klinken schwenkbares Segment (15) mit einer Rastnase (20) ein Schieber (21) in eine Sperrlage (21') angehoben und dadurch die Falle (3) verriegelt. Dadurch kann das Schloss auch ohne eine zusätzliche Zuhaltung mit einem Riegel wirksam geschlossen werden.
