[origin: US4775105A] An electrostatic powder spray gun comprises a powder cup and is constructed such that the powder cup comprises a removable cover which is secured to the pistol tube of the gun in an easily-detachable manner, whereby a conveying tube and an air tube extend through the cover and are held thereat. The air tube projects beyond the cover and, given the cover secured to the pistol tube, projects into a spring-loaded discharge valve of the compressed air feed line and thereby holds the same in the open position against spring pressure. Given the cover secured to the pistol tube, the orifice of a powder channel extending in the pistol tube is constructed as a connection for a powder feed line leading from a remote powder preparation system.

Eine elektrostatische Pulver-Sprühpistole mit an ihr angeordnetem Pulverbecher (43) wird so ausgebildet, daß der Pulverbecher (43) einen abnehmbaren Deckel (44) aufweist, der leicht lösbar am Pistolenrohr (15) befestigt ist, wobei ein Förderrohr (45) und ein Luftrohr (46) den Deckel (44) durchsetzen und an ihm gehaltert sind, daß das Luftrohr (46) über den Deckel (44) hinaussteht und bei am Pistolenrohr (15) befestigtem Deckel (44) in ein federbelastetes Auslaßventil (49, 50, 51) der Druckluft-Zuführleitung (73) hineinragt und dabei dieses gegen Federdruck in Offenstellung hält, und daß die bei am Pistolenrohr (15) befestigtem Deckel (44) an diesem anliegende Mündung eines im Pistolenrohr (15) verlaufenden Pulverkanals (18) als Anschluß für eine von einer entfernten Pulveraufbereitungsanlage herführenden Pulverzuführleitung (90) ausgebildet ist.
