Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0239895A2] A control system of the drive motor (13) of a driving device for floor or trolley conveyors, especially for the mining industry, is arranged in a coupling rod (10) which connects the driving device to the next driven device. The coupling rod (10) consists of a rod (17) coupled to the driving device and of an elongated housing (19) which is coupled to the next driven device and in which the rod (17) is mounted in a longitudinally displaceable manner and is supported on either side by springs (24). A means (36) proportioning the power supply to the drive motor (13) is arranged in the housing (19). An actuating means (34) for this means (36) is arranged on the rod and can be displaced relative to the latter by an adjusting means (28-33). The actuating means (34) works by displacement relative to the means (36) in such a way that the relative position between the two determines the direction and extent of the power supply. Control is effected at will by the adjusting means (28-33). Automatic control is superimposed on this by longitudinal displacement of the rod (17) relative to the housing (19). This automatic control reacts to a change in the pulling or pushing force and balances it in such a way that the motor speed remains constant. <IMAGE>
