The folding box has a rectangular bottom surface and side walls and end walls attached thereto. Provided between the latter are gusset corners which can be folded onto the outside of the end walls. The folding line of these gusset corners is arranged off-centre, by which means the folding box is braced when it is set up, which holds the folding box firmly in its upright state. <IMAGE>

Schalenförmige Faltschachtel mit einer rechteckigen Bodenfläche (2) sowie daran angelenkten Seiten- und Stirnwänden (3,4;9,10). Zwischen diesen sind Zwickelecken (11-14) vorgesehen, die auf die Außenseite der Stirnwände (9, 10) aufgefaltet werden. Die Faltlinie (23-26) dieser Zwickelecken ist außermittig angeordnet, wodurch eine Verspannung der Faltschachtel beim Aufrichten erfolgt, welche die Faltschachtel in ihrem aufgerichteten Zustand festhält.
