[origin: EP0240012A1] Power wrench, in which a clamping lever (4), driven by a piston, can swivel in a housing, which clamping lever, for its part, carries with it in one pivoting direction via a drive pawl (9) a clamping wheel (8) which serves to transmit the clamping force to a screw or nut to be tightened or loosened. To simplify the assembly, the clamping wheel (8) is made cross-sectionally asymmetrical and is diametrically stepped along its axis, resulting, at the transition point, in an annular shoulder (14) which lies against a side face (15) in the clamping lever (4) and is laterally supported. On both sides of the clamping lever (4) the clamping wheel (8) continues, with the smaller diameter, in bearing shells (2, 3) which close the housing on both sides of the clamping lever (4), resulting, in addition to the double bearing of the clamping wheel (8) in the clamping lever (4), in in each case one bearing point in each of the two bearing shells (2, 3).
