[origin: EP0240895A2] Miniature switching relay having a spring bracket serving for retention of a magnet coil provided with an armature which can pivot and of a spring contact set, the longitudinal axis of the spring contact set running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the magnetic coil, and the armature, supported such that it can pivot on the magnet system with its operating arm, acting on the switch contact spring of the spring contact set in a switching manner, in a first embodiment, a switching arm being arranged in the operating chain between the armature and the switching contact spring, which switching arm transfers the pivoting movement of the armature onto the contact spring, is rotatably supported on one side on the relay frame on the end of one limb and can pivot in the opposite sense to the armature, and which switching arm, in a specific embodiment, has its point of rotation below a plane running parallel to and at a distance from the yoke of the magnet system, which plane corresponds to the position of the free end of the operating arm of the armature abutting against the pole surface of the core which is most remote from the yoke. <IMAGE>
