Abstract (en)

The invention consists of a centrifugal mixer (3,4) in which the powder feed (21) relies on recirculation (25) of the mixture through a circuit containing a jet pump. This produces a very high quality mix whose density can be readily controlled, even when fine powders such as cement are used. The invention has applications for oil field services.
