[origin: US4842081A] In well drilling, and in particular the horizontal drilling field, a simultaneous drilling and casing device is provided. A drill string driven in rotation by a revolving table has at its end a drilling tool 28 driven by a bottom motor 22 and, in its intermediate part, a drive connection 10 to which the rear end 1a of a casing section 1 is screwed, whose front end is provided with an abrasive material ring 3. The length of the part of the drill string separating the connection 10 from tool 28 is substantially equal to the length of section 1. The casing 1 driven by the drill string at the speed of rotation of the revolving table cuts its own way during the drilling.

Domaine de forage de puits, en particulier de forage horizontal. Une colonne de forage entrainée en rotation par une table de rotation porte à son extrémité un outil de forage 28 entrainé par un moteur de fond 22 et, dans sa partie intermédiaire, un raccord d'entrainement 10 avec lequel est solidarisée par vissage l'extrémité arrière 1a d'un tronçon de cuvelage 1, dont l'extrémité avant est munie d'une couronne à garniture abrasive 3. La longueur de la partie de la colonne de forage séparant le raccord 10 de l'outil 28 est sensiblement égale à la longueur du tronçon 1. Le cuvelage 1 entrainée par la colonne de forage à la vitesse de rotation de la table de rotation se fraie son chemin par lui-même au cours du forage. Permet la pose de cuvelage dans un terrain instable comportant des risques d'éboulement.
