A vibrating-blade knife comprising a body (1) and a blade (2) mounted in the said body. The blade is integral with an anvil (7) sliding in a cylinder (4) in which are disposed a movable piston (5), an axial duct (11) emerging into the cylinder on one side of the piston and a vent (6) emerging in the cylinder on the other side of the piston, means (18) being provided in order to supply the said axial duct with an alternative air pressure. <IMAGE>

L'invention est relative à un couteau à lame vibrante, comprenant un corps (1) et une lame (2) montée dans ledit corps. La lame est solidaire d'une enclume (7) coulissant dans un cylindre (4) dans lequel est disposé un piston mobile (5), un conduit axial (11) débouchant dans le cylindre d'un coté du piston et un évent (6) débouchant dans le cylindre de l'autre coté du piston, des moyens (18) étant prévus pour fournir audit conduit axial une pression d'air alternative.
