[origin: EP0241401A2] An automatic feeder of multi-layer documents for printing systems consists of synchronized elements sending the documents in an automatic and continuous way to the printer without movement of the lower sheets with respect to the top original sheet. From a storage bin (1) a drag and ejection system acting by gravitation and comprising a motor (4) and rollers (7) conveys the upper document to a hopper (10). From this hopper the documents are centered and directed towards the platen (21) of the printer by a second drag system (12) and (13), after printing they are conveyed by a third similar system (24) to a storage area. The feed, printing and ejection of the documents is controlled by sensors in apertures (14) and (15) at the hopper (10) and sensors below the drag system (24) to provide an automatic and continous operation.
