Un dispositif (11) qui permet le chauffage uniforme de locaux d'habitation (12) en égalisant la distribution de la température entre les niveaux du plafond et du plancher, comprend une colonne verticale (13) qui s'étend du plafond (17) jusqu'au plancher (16) et qui contient un canal dans lequel sont agencés ventilateur et un corps chauffant électrique entre une ouverture supérieure (18) d'entrée d'air et une ouverture inférieure (19) de sortie d'air. Ce dispositif (11) assure une distribution uniforme de la température dans les locaux, en même temps permettant d'obtenir une réduction sensible de la puissance de chauffage accompagnée d'une amélioration du bien-être des personnes séjournant dans les locaux.
