A brooch catch with a needle, characterized in that the brooch consists of two parts (1,2) connected together tos wivel via a hinge (4), where the two parts of the brooch, in the area diametrically opposed to the hinge (4), each have a positive-fit closing catch part (5-9), and that to one brooch part (1) in the area of the corresponding closure part is fixed a needle (10) which crosses the brooch itself in its closed position and fixes in an eyelet (11) fitted in the area near the hinge of the other brooch part.
