[origin: US4817825A] A water jet injection device for use with mixed beverage dispensing machines is provided, wherein a bushing-type sealing element which fulfills several functions is placed in the injector housing. In particular, the sealing element sealingly separates the mixing chamber from the rearward section of the injector housing in a reliable manner and further acts as a nonreturn valve hermetically sealing the mixing chamber against the supply conduit for fruit syrup or concentrate when the injector in the mixing chamber is inoperative and, at the same time, the sealing element provides a seal when an intake conduit or the like is connected with the lateral intake opening of the injector housing.

Es ist eine Wasserstrahl-Injektionsvorrichtung in das Injektorgehäuse (20) ein buchsenförmiges Dichtelement (10) eingesetzt ist, das mehrere Funktionen erfüllt. Insbesondere trennt das Dichtelement die Mischkammer (24) vom rückwärtigen Teil des Injektionsgehäuses unter zuverlässiger Abdichtung und wirkt außerdem als die Mischkammer von dem Zulauf (23) für Fruchtsirup oder Konzentrat hermetisch abdichtenden Rückschlagventils bei fehlender Injektorwirkung in der Mischkammer, bzw. bildet das Dichtelement zugleich eine Abdichtung beim Anschluß einer Ansaugleitung (23) oder dergleichen an die seitliche Ansaugöffnung des Injektorgehäuses.
