[origin: US4677278A] A food vending machine comprising a store cabinet for a plurality of cooled or non-cooled dishes and a cuboid oven (40). One wall (42) of the oven (40) is provided with an inlet door (46) and another wall (43) is provided with an outlet door (47) for introducing and withdrawing a food dish (28). A first conveying means (49) serves to transfer the dish (28) from the store cabinet through the inlet door (46) into the oven (40). A second conveying means (50) serves to transfer the dish (28) through the outlet door (47) to a dispensing position. Doors (46, 47) adjoin each other over a corner of the oven (40) in order to achieve a simple sequence of motion of the different moving elements, while keeping the construction as compact as possible.

Ein Speisenautomat weist einen Vorratsschrank für eine Mehrzahl gekühlter oder ungekühlter Speisen sowie einen quadeförmigen Ofen (40) auf. Eine Wand (42) des Ofens (40) ist mit einer Eingangstür (46) und eine andere Wand (43) mit einer Ausgangstür (47) zum Einbringen bzw. Entnehmen einer Speisenschale (28) versehen. Eine erste Fördereinrichtung (49) dient zum Überführen der Speisenschalen (28) aus dem Vorratsschrank durch die Eingangstür (46) in den Ofen (40). Eine zweite Fördereinrichtung (50) dient zum Überführen der Speisenschalen (28) durch die Ausgangstür (47) in eine Ausgabeposition. Um bei möglichst kompaktem Aufbau einen einfachen Bewegungsablauf der verschiedenen bewegten Elemente zu erreichen, grenzen die Wände (42, 43) über eine Ecke des Ofens (40) aneinander.
