The seat and back parts are provided in the region where they join each other with a reduced width to intensify the relative tilting thereof. Longitudinal slots are also provided in the seat and extend from the region of reduced width to further intensify this relative tilting. The chair frame is provided with fastening elements in the region of the front edge of the seat for tilting attachment of seat and back.
