Abstract (en)
The pot twisting spindle is used for twisting one or more yarns or threads which have been wound in the single or folded state on bobbins. The pot twisting spindle consists of a rotatable pot (1), on the inside of which a bobbin receiving mandrel (2) rises from the floor at the centre, and a lid, which carries on the upper surface a centrally arranged twist limiter (11). The bobbin or bobbins (5, 5', 5'') sits or sit easily rotatable on the bobbin receiving mandrel (2). The pot wall (1) has in the middle of the bobbin or the bobbins (5, 5', 5'') guides (7, 7', 7''; 17, 18; 28, 30) through which the yarns or threads (9, 9', 9'') pass upwards to the twist limiter (11) and on to the take-off or winding unit. To ensure entrainment of the bobbin or bobbins (5, 5', 5'') inserted into the pot (1), in particular on acceleration and deceleration of the pot twisting spindle, the pot twisting spindle is provided with braking or coupling devices, in particular those which become disengaged at high spindle speeds through the centrifugal force. <IMAGE>

Die Topfzwirnspindel dient der Zwirnung von einem oder mehreren Garnen oder Fäden, die einzeln oder gefacht auf Spulen aufgewunden sind. Die Topfzwirnspindel besteht aus einem rotierend antreibbaren Zwirntopf (1), in dessen Innenraum ein mittig vom Boden ausgehender Spulenaufnahmedorn (2) angeordnet ist, und einem Zwirntopfdeckel, der an der Oberseite ein mittig angeordnetes Drallbegrenzungsteil (11) trägt. Die Spule oder die Spulen (5, 5', 5") ist bzw. sind auf den Spulenaufnahmedorn (2) leicht rollend drehbar aufgesetzt. In der Topfwand (1) sind in der Mitte der Spule oder der Spulen (5, 5', 5") Führungen (7, 7', 7"; 17, 18; 28, 30) angeordnet, durch welche die Garne oder Fäden (9, 9', 9") nach oben zu dem Drallbegrenzungsteil (11) und weiter zur Abzieh- bzw. Aufspuleinrichtung geführt sind. Zur sicheren Mitnahme der in den Zwirntopf (1) eingelegten Spule bzw. Spulen (5, 5', 5"), insbesondere beim An- und Auslauf der Topfzwirnspindel sind Brems- bzw. Kupplungsvorrichtungen in der Topfzwirnspindel vorgesehen, insbesondere solche, die sich durch Fliehkraft beim Erreichen höhrerer Spindeldrehzahlen lösen.
