Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0243098A2] A pinch apparatus has a pair of rolls (2, 3) arranged opposedly each having a respective roller (5, 15) whose peripheral length decreases from the centre portion in the axial direction towards each end rotatably and which is disposed on a curved roller shaft (4, 16). The rollers can have flat parts (5a, 15a) throughout the axial direction at an external periphery of the rollers. The pinch apparatus feeds out a material being passed through in a quantity corresponding to the peripheral lengths of each part of the rollers.
