Abstract (en)
Two-wheel skate having a frame (1), a front wheel (4) and a rear wheel (5), two shafts (2, 3) for supporting the said frame on the said wheels, a sole plate (10) mounted on the said frame, the said sole plate being substantially horizontal and lower than the said shafts when the skate is in its operating position, with the said wheels in a vertical plane, and braking means. The said braking means comprise two levers (15, 17; 15', 17') mounted so as to pivot on the said frame, each lever having, at a first one of its ends, a brake block (19) capable of coming into contact with one of the said wheels, common actuating means (25) for actuating the two brake levers for bringing the said blocks into contact with the said wheels, and connection means (21, 30, 36a, 36b) for joining the said levers to the said brake-actuating means. <IMAGE>

Patin à deux roues possédant un châssis (1), une roue avant (4) et une roue arriève (5), deux arbres (2,3) pour supporter ledit châssis sur lesdites roues, une semelle (10) montée sur ledit châssis, ladite semelle étant sensiblement horizontale et plus basse que lesdits arbres lorsque le patin est dans sa position de fonctionnement avec lesdites roues dans un plan vertical, et des moyens de freinage. Lesdits moyens de freinage comprennent deux leviers (15, 17 ; 15', 17') montés pivotants sur ledit châssis, chaque levier ayant à une première de ses extrémités un patin de frein (19) susceptible de venir en contact avec une desdites roues, des moyens d'actionnement communs (25) pour actionner les deux leviers de frein pour amener en contact lesdits patins avec lesdites roues , et des moyens de liaison (21, 30, 36a, 36b) pour relier lesdits leviers auxdits moyens d'actionnement de frein.
