Abstract (en)
For the economical separation of faulty cigarettes (29), the cigarettes are tested in the region of magazine shafts (11a, 11b..; 12a, 12b...) of a cigarette magazine (10). The identified faulty cigarettes (29) are conveyed beyond a lower principal ejection plane (22) and separated below the latter. For this purpose, supporting members (carrier webs 32) for the cigarettes can be moved up and down at the lower end of the magazine shafts. <IMAGE>

Zum wirtschaftlichen Aussondern von Fehlzigaretten (29) erfolgt eine Prufung der Zigaretten im Bereich von Magazinschächten (11a, 11b..; 12a, 12b..) eines ZigarettenMagazins (10). Die identifizierten Fehlzigaretten (29) werden über eine untere Hauptausschubebene (22) hinaus gefördert und unterhalb derselben ausgesondert. Zu diesem Zweck sind Stützorgane (Tragstege 32) für die Zigaretten am unteren Ende der Magazin-Schächte auf- und abbewegbar.
