[origin: US4768768A] The winding core mounted to be rotatable and removable in a mobile storage unit, is placed into rotation by means of a drive roll which engages at the outer surface or circumference of the widing core or, as the case may be, the wound product package forming thereupon. In the mobile storage unit there is likewise removably arranged a winding band spool or reel which is also driven at its outer surface or circumference. For this purpose there is likewise provided a driven drive roll. By virtue of such circumferential drives for the winding core and, as the case may be, the wound product package, and equally the winding band spool or reel the mobile storage units can be of simple construction. This also enables the mounting or support arrangement for the winding core and the mounting or support arrangement for the winding band spool or reel to be structured such that the winding core and the winding band spool can be easily removed from the related mobile storage unit.

Der drehbar und entfernbar in einer mobilen Speichereinheit (28) gelagerte Wickelkern (5O) wird mittels einer Antriebsrolle (l6) in Drehung versetzt, die am Umfang (5Oa, U) des Wickelkernes (5O) bzw. des sich auf diesem bildenden Wickels (W) angreift. In der Speichereinheit (28) ist ebenfalls entfernbar eine Wickelbandspule (42) angeordnet, die auch an ihrem Umfang (42a) angetrieben wird. Hiezu dient ebenfalls eine angetriebene Antriebsrolle (25). Dank dieser Umfangsantriebe für den Wickelkern (5O) bzw. den Wickel (W) und die Bandspule (42) können die Speichereinheiten (28) von einfacher Konstruktion sein. Dies erlaubt es auch, die Lagerung (35 bis 4O) für den Wickelkern (5O) und die Lagerung (45) für die Bandspule (42) so auszugestalten, dass Wickelkern (5O) und Bandspule (42) leicht von der Speichereinheit (28) entfernt werden können.
