[origin: US4811548A] Printed products arriving in an imbricated formation are wound-up into a product or package roll about which there is placed a wrapper or envelope which retains together the package roll. For easier handling of the product or package roll such is provided with an endless carrying loop. This endless carrying loop is formed by a carrying element, such as a knotted cord, rope, string or the like which extends through an internal opening or hollow interior of the product or package roll and to the outer side or surface of such product or package roll.

In Schuppenformation anfallende Druckprodukte werden zu einer Rolle (45) aufgewickelt, um die herum eine Umhüllung (46) gelegt wird, die die Rolle (45) zusammenhält. Zur leichteren Handhabung der Rolle (45) wird diese mit einer geschlossenen Tragschlaufe (48) versehen. Letztere wird durch eine zusammengeknüpfte Schnur (40) gebildet, die sich durch eine Innenöffnung (47) der Rolle (45) hindurch erstreckt und auf der Aussenseite der Rolle (45) verläuft.
