[origin: US4752015A] There is provided an attachment having a pot-shaped bottom element and a sealing cap adapted to be arranged on the neck of tubes, bottles or the like. The top side of the ceiling of the bottom element, which is supported by the side wall of the pot-shaped bottom element, is fitted with brush-like bristles which are covered by the sealing cap. The central region of the bottom element ceiling is provided with an orifice into which projects a tongue extending from the bottom side of the sealing cap, the free end of the tongue entering the orifice in the ceiling of the bottom part and sealing the same in the manner of a plug. The sealing cap has in the bottom edge region a female thread which cooperates with a male thread on the neck of the tube so that the side wall of the bottom element and the female thread of the sealing cap oppose one another in the same cross-sectional plane thus resulting in a space-saving association of the bottom element having the brush-like bristles, such association being close to the neck.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen auf dem Hals (4) von Tuben (1), Flaschen oder dergleichen anzuordnenden Aufsatz (A) mit topfförmigem Unterteil (5) und Verschlußkappe (6), wobei die Oberseite der von der Topfwandung (13) getragenen Decke (5') des Unterteiles (5) mit borstenähnlich aufrechtstehenden Streichkörpern (7) ausgestattet ist, die von der Verschlußkappe (6) überfangen sind und einen mittleren Bereich freilassen, in welchem sich ein von der Verschlußkappen-Unterseite ausgehender Dorn (9) erstreckt, dessen freies Ende (9') stopfenartig verschließend in eine Mündungsöffnung (11) an der Decke (5') des Unterteils (5) eintritt, welche Verschlußkappe (6) am unteren Randbereich mit einem Innengewinde ausgestattet ist, welches mit einem Gegengewinde (26) am Hals (4) zusammenwirkt, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer raumsparenden, halsnahen Zuordnung des die borstenähnlichen Streichkörper (7) aufweisenden Unterteils (5) vor, daß die Topfwandung (13) und das Innengewinde (25) sich auf gleicher Querschnittsebene gegenüberliegen.
