[origin: EP0243919A2] In a process for securing together three or more overlying and continuously transported webs, in particular paper webs for the formation of sets of forms, by means of short strips of adhesive tape, which webs are provided at least on a lateral edge with a transport perforation which can be separated as required, the individual strips of adhesive tape are glued on the outer surface of an outer web in the vicinity of a transport hole, pushed through the transport hole and are fastened, with bow-like deformation, to the outer surface of a further web by adhesive bonding. In order to connect the individual webs fixedly to one another in a non-movable manner, at least the third and every other web in the region of the connecting point is provided with an additional perforation offset relative to the transport perforation, and the ends of the strips of adhesive tape projecting through the transport perforation are pushed through this additional perforation to form an eye-like loop and glued with the rear side of the second or first web. <IMAGE>
