A joint covering in roadways, in particular in bridge decks, which is adjacent to the road surface (11) comprises an elastomeric plate (2) which bridges the joints (1) and whose longitudinal edges are in each case fixedly connected to the associated joint edge (6, 7). In order to prevent the plates (2) from curving upwards under the action of horizontal pressure forces D, the plate (2) has on its underside edge notches (10) or cavities (17) or is additionally reinforced in the edge region on its upper side. In order to prevent the elastomeric plate (2) being raised from its base under the action of horizontal tensile forces Z, the plate (2) has on its underside at least one cut notch (13); the cut notch (13) is virtually or completely closed in the non-stressed state of the elastomeric plate, but spreads under the action of horizontal tensile forces Z. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine an die Fahrbahnoberfläche (11) angrenzende Fugenabdeckung in Verkehrswegen, insbesondere von Brücken, umfaßt eine die Fuge (1) überbrückende elastomere Platte (2), deren Längsränder jeweils fest mit dem zugeordnetem Fugenrand (6,7) verbunden sind. Um ein Aufwölben der Platte (2) unter Einwirkung horizontaler Druckkräfte D zu vermeiden, besitzt die Platte (2) an ihrer Unterseite Randkerben (10) oder Hohlräume (17) bzw. ist im Randbereich an ihrer Oberseite zusätzlich ausgesteift. Um ein Abheben der elastomeren Platte (2) von ihrer Unterlage unter der Einwirkung horizontaler Zugkräfte Z zu vermeiden, besitzt die Platte (2) an ihrer Unterseite mindestens eine Schnittkerbe (13); die Schnittkerbe (13) ist im spannungslosen Zustand der elastomeren Platte nahezu oder vollständig geschlossen, jedoch unter Einwirkung von horizontalen Zugkräften Z aufgespreizt.
