Abstract (en)
A rod-shaped blank (19) is inserted into an internally toothed pressing die (11) which rests on a base plate (10). The blank (19) has a blind hole (22) into which a pilot pin (17) provided on the pressing ram (13) projects. During pressing, the front faces (16, 23) of the pressing ram (13) and the pilot pin (17) act on the blank (19), the material thereby penetrating into the gaps in the toothing (12) of the pressing die (11). The front faces of the pressing ram and the pilot pin (16, 23) in each case produce an axial and radial flow of material and the pilot pin additionally produces a flow of material counter to the pressing direction, the flow of material ensuring the uniform filling of the tooth impression over its entire length. The method permits the rapid and dimensionally accurate production of spur-toothed and obliquely- toothed gears by forming. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein stabförmiger Rohling (19) wird in eine innenverzahnte Preßmatrize (11) eingesetzt, die auf einer Basisplatte (10) ruht. Der Rohling (19) weist ein Sackloch (22) auf, in das ein an dem Preßstempel (13) vorgesehener Steuerdorn (17) hineinragt. Beim Pressen wirken die Stirnflächen (16, 23) von Preßstempel (13) und Steuerdorn (17) auf den Rohling (19) ein, wodurch das Material in die Lücken der Verzahnung (12) der Preßmatrize (11) eindringt. Durch die Stirnflächen von Preßstempel und Steuerdorn (16, 23) wird jeweils ein axialer und radialer, beim Steuerdorn zusätzlich ein der Preßrichtung entgegengesetzter Wirkstofffluß erzeugt, wodurch die gleichmäßige Füllung der Verzahnungsgravur über ihrer gesamten Länge erreicht wird. Das Verfahren erlaubt die schnelle und maßhaltige Herstellung von gerad- und schrägverzahnten Zahnrädern durch Umformen.
