1. A device mounted on a web-fed printing press, for folding and cutting part circumference length copies, with web rolling units fitted to a folder, which include slitting and turning devices for the printed web, with former fold stations of the plough type (I, II, III, IV), with a cutting unit (11, 13) for cutting the printed web at right angles to the web edge and with a conveyor belt system having a reduced speed which leads to a delivery point and produces formation of imbrication, characterized by the arrangement of the former fold stations (I, II, III, IV) in the superstructure of the folder, by an initial cutting unit (18, 19) for cross cutting the former folded printed web (D) into one or several web cuttings (P) as well as by leading the imbricated web cuttings (P) into a corner conveyor (20) whereupon the web cuttings, turned through 90 degrees, can be lead to a second cutting unit, which consists of a rotary slitter (23) whose lateral circular cutter (24, 24') is adjustable for the purpose setting the spacing when cutting part circumference length copies (N).

Kleinformatige, im In-Line-Verfahren hergestellte Falzprodukte werden mittels in den Falzapparat der Rollenrotationsmaschine integrierter Pflugfalzstationen und gegebenenfalls mittels Falztrichter längsgefalzt. Zuerst werden mehrere Nutzen lange Abschnitte heruntergeschnitten. Beim Weg über den Falztrichter oder auch bei erforderlichem Querfalz erfolgt der Schnitt mit dem Schneidzylinder des Falzapparates, ein nicht mit dem Falztrichter falzfähiger Strang läuft zum Schneiden in das Schneidwerk einer planoauslegerhaften Einrichtung. In beiden Fällen werden die Bahnabschnitte bei heruntergesetzter Stromgeschwindigkeit einem Eckförderer zugeführt, aus dem sie mit der Falzkante quer zur neuen Förderrichtung liegend in einen Rotationslängsschneider einlaufen. Der bevorzugt mit einer trommelförmigen Gegenmessereinrichtung arbeitende Rotationslängsschneider durchtrennt die Bahnabschnitte in die kleinformatigen Falzprodukte.
