Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0245526A1] 1. Probe for the removal of dust from moving web members, preferably of paper, with at least one electrostatic high-voltage electrode and at least one blow nozzle for gas, preferably air, arranged opposed to the direction of movement of the web member, and a suction channel for the dust-bearing gas, characterized in that the pointed or blade-like individual electrodes of the high-voltage electrode (10) lie in a first plane nor parallel to the web member (7), that the direction of blowing of the row of individual nozzles (12) embodied in the shape of points and/or slits of the blow nozzle (11) lies in a second plane, that the blow nozzle (11) lies in the direction of movement (8) of the web member (7) behind the first high-voltage electrode (10), that the first and the second planes intersect in a straight line that lies in the plane of the web member (7) and runs across the latter, and that the point- and/or slit-shaped channel openings (14) of the suction channel (13) are arranged in the direction of movement (8) in front of the high-voltage electrode.
