The outside frame of a shower enclosure having a folding door (13) made of two V-shaped foldable door elements (14, 15) has a vertical frame panel (4) which is constructed as a plate-shaped fixed element, holds the folding door (13) at a distance from the adjoining room wall in the folded opening state, and also reduces the width of the folding door elements (14, 15) so that these project less far into the shower cubicle in the opening state. Furthermore, supports for bathing utensils and the like can be attached to the plate-shaped fixed element (4) and leads (11) - for example for a shower head mounted at the upper end of the fixed element - can be passed through the hollow fixed element (4). <IMAGE>

Der Außenrahmen einer Duschabtrennung mit einer Falttür (13) aus zwei V-förmig auffaltbaren Türelementen (14, 15) hat einen vertikalen Rahmenholm (4), der als plattenförmiges Festelement ausgebildet ist, der die Falttür (13) im aufgefalteten Öffnungszustand auf Abstand von der angrenzenden Raumwand hält und überdies die Breite der Falttürelemente (14, 15) verringert, so daß diese im Öffnungzustand weniger weit in die Duschkabine hineinragen. Außerdem können am plattenförmigen Festelement (4) Träger für Badutensilien u.dgl. befestigt werden, und Leitungen (11) - beispielsweise für eine am oberen Ende des Festelements angebrachte Brause - können durch das hohle Festelement (4) hindurchgeführt werden.
