[origin: US4785510A] A fixed base plate provided with a circular recess accommodates a rotating disk. Mounted above the base plate and the rotating disk, is an endless band conveyor swivellable about the axis of the roller in the area of the edge of the base plate. The rotating disk is fitted with a channel through which the yarn is guided from below into the space between the disk and the lower run of the band conveyor in which loops are formed and moved toward the edge of the base plate. Arranged at the edge of the base plate, below the conveyor, is a belt, receiving the loops. The drives of the band conveyor and the belt conveyor form a single unit.

In einer feststehenden Grundplatte (1) befindet sich eine kreisförmige Aussparung (19), in welcher eine rotierende Scheibe (2) angeordnet ist. Ueber der Grundplatte (1) und der rotierenden Scheibe befindet sich eine Einrichtung (6) bestehend aus zwei Rollen (8, 9) und einem umlaufenden Band (7) mit einer Transportfläche (3). Die Einrichtung (6) ist um die Achse (10) der Rolle im Bereiche des Randes (37) der Grundplatte (1) schwenkbar. Unterhalb der Grundplatte (1) ist ein Bandförderer (12) angeordnet, wobei die Antriebe des Bandförderers (12) und der Einrichtung (6) eine Einheit bilden. In der rotierenden Scheibe (2) ist ein Kanal vorgesehen, durch welchen das Garn (4) von unten in den Zwischenraum (28) zwischen Scheibe (2) und Transportfläche (3) geführt wird. Hier bilden sich Schlingen, welche zu einem Band (5) ausgelegt werden.
