Abstract (en)
A device according to the invention is fixed between a fixed plate (13) and a movable plate (14) of a crimping press. It comprises a platen (15) which is fixed to the fixed plate (13) and which comprises a passage (12) and means in order to advance in the passage a strip (8) carrying connection pieces (6) fixed perpendicularly to the said strip. The device comprises a carriage (16) which pivots by 90 DEG about an axis (17). The movable plate (14) carries a support for punches (25) which carries two crimping punches (26, 27) and a finger (28) which bears on a pressing blade carried by the movable carriage. <??>One application is the construction of an automatic crimping unit equipping a wiring system robot. <IMAGE>
