A guide ring (5) with an inside wall consisting of two cylindrical segments (6, 7) is inserted into a cylindrical hole (4) in a housing (1). Inside the guide ring (5) a plastic guide cam (20) with corresponding outer wall (21) is rotationally fixed. Between these, moving slides (15) are carried in radial slots (14) of a slide guide (11) connected to a drive shaft (10). Plastic profile sections (37) are inserted in the outside edges (35) of the slides (15). The guide cam (20) is loaded by a spring (23) in the direction of the intake area (46) of the pump so that there the slides (15) slide between the guide ring (5) and guide cam (20) without any play. Due to the design of the guide cam (20) and the profile sections (37) of plastic wear is practically confined to these two components, making maintenance cheaper. In addition both the slides (15) and the guide ring (5) can thereby be made of stainless steel, which is a considerable advantage for conveying foodstuffs. <IMAGE>

In eine zylindrische Bohrung (4) eines Gehäuses (1) ist ein Führungsring (5) eingesetzt mit einer aus zwei Zylindersegmenten (6,7) bestehenden Innenwand. Innerhalb des Führungsrings (5) ist eine Führungskurve (20) aus Kunststoff mit entsprechender Aussenwand (21) drehfest angeordnet. Dazwischen sind Schieber (15) in radialen Schlitzen (14) einer mit einer Antriebswelle (10) verbundenen Schieberführung (11) beweglich geführt. In die Aussenkanten (35) der Schieber (15) sind Kunststoffprofile (37) eingesetzt. Die Führungskurve (20) ist durch eine Feder (23) in Richtung des Ansaugbereiches (46) der Pumpe belastet, so dass dort die Schieber (15) spielfrei zwischen Führungsring (5) und Führungskurve (20) gleiten. Durch die Ausbildung der Führungskurve (20) und der Profile (37) aus Kunststoff wird der Verschleiss praktisch auf diese beiden Komponenten beschränkt, so dass die Wartung billiger wird. Ausserdem können damit sowohl die Schieber (15) als auch der Führungsring (5) aus rostfreiem Stahl hergestellt werden, was für die Förderung von Lebensmitteln ein beträchtlicher Vorteil ist.
