[origin: FR2578874A2] Metal pile planks presenting throughout their length a constant cross-section with a particular profile and having two complementary means which extend longitudinally and continuously from one transversal extremity to the other extremity of the pile plank, each of said two means being intended to co-operate with the complementary means of an adjacent pile plank, by longitudinal engagement in order to form, after said engagement, a continuous relatively tight longitudinal locking. In its Z cross-section, the pile plank of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a built-in corner piece (74) of the web (71) close to the wing (72), the free edge (75) of the corner piece being turned towards the wing (72), and in that its second wing (73) presents at its extremity a fold (76) turned towards the neutral axis (80) of the pile plank. Said pile plank is cold formed by shaping, for its small thicknesses, up to 12 mm, and by bending for thicknesses comprised between 12 and 32 mm.

Palplanches métalliques présentant, sur toute leur longueur, une section constante à profil particulier et comportant deux moyens complémentaires l'un de l'autre qui s'étendent longitudinalement et continûment d'une extrémité transversale à l'autre de la palplanche, chacun desdits deux moyens étant destiné à coopérer avec le moyen complémentaire d'une palplanche voisine, par enclenchement longitudinal, pour constituer après cet enclenchement un verrou longitudinal continu relativement étanche. Dans sa section en Z, la palplanche de l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une cornière (74) rapportée sur l'âme (71) près de l'aile (72), le bord libre (75) de la cornière étant tourné vers l'aile (72), et en ce que sa seconde aile (73) présente à son extrémité un repli (76) tourné vers l'axe neutre (80) de la palplanche. Cette palplanche est formée à froid, par profilage pour ses petites épaisseurs, jusqu'à 12 mm, et par pliage entre 12 et 32 mm.
