Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0247281A1] 1. A device for locking the moving member (4) of a window or door or the like against unauthorised opening, such member being lockable in its closure position on the fixed frame (3) by cams (6) or the like which engage behind closure members and which are actuated by a positioning bar device and being selectively movable, by way of pivot parts adapted to be changed over or alternately engaged or disengaged by the positioning bar device, into two different open positions, for example, a turned-open position and a tilted-open position, a slide (10) which slides on a baseplate (11) being provided on the fixed frame and carrying an abutment (20), the same projecting parallel to the frame plane and being disposed on the room side before the movement path of a cam or the like of the positioning bar device, the abutment (20) being movable parallel to the movement path of the cam or the like from a normal inoperative position into, and securable in, at least one (operative) locking position associated with the two open positions, characterised in that the slide (19) carrying the abutment (24) carries a securing member (25, 28 respectively) which is operative transversely to the direction of movement of the slide and by means of which the slide (19) can be coupled both in its normal position (Figs. 1 and 3) and in each locking position (Figs. 2 and 4) with fixing means (17a, 17b; 17d, 17c; 17b, 17c respectively) fixedly disposed on the baseplate (11).
