In the container carrier, in particular for bottles, cans or the like, the preferably single-part blank can be placed around a container in the manner of a cuff and forms two opposite wall portions, a bottom portion and a lid portion, openings bounded by webs being provided in the edge region between the wall portions and the lid portion or the bottom portion, into which openings the upper or lower edge of the container projects, the openings adjacent to the lower corners being crossed and bounded towards the corner by a web portion which is separated from the outer web portion by a separation incision and is separated from the wall portion or bottom portion on the side opposite the outer web portion approximately up to its ends by incisions starting from the opening in such a way that, when the blank is placed around the container, if appropriate supported by the assigned container, the inner web portion is swivelled and placed on the container wall. <IMAGE>

Behälterträger aus faltbarem Blattmaterial, insbesondere für Flaschen, Dosen oder dergleichen, bei dem der vorzugsweise einteilige Zuschnitt manschettenartig um ein Behältergebinde herumlegbar ist und zwei gegenüberliegende Wandabschnitte (12a, 12b, 13a, 13b), einen Boden- (10, 11) und einen Deckelabschnitt (14) bildet, wobei im Kantenbereich zwischen den Wandabschnitten (12a, 12b, 13a, 13b) und dem Deckelabschnitt (14) bzw. dem Bodenabschnitt (11) durch Stege begrenzte Öffnungen (17, 18, 19) vorgesehen sind, in die der obere bzw. untere Rand des Behälters hineinsteht, wobei die den unteren Ecken benachbarten Öffnungen (18, 19) zur Ecke hin von einem Stegabschnitt (26c) überquert und begrenzt werden, der durch einen Trennschnitt (35c) von dem äußeren Stegabschnitt getrennt ist und der auf der dem äußeren Stegabschnitt (36c) gegenüberliegenden Seite bis annähernd zu seinen Enden durch von der Öffnung (19) ausgehende Einschnitte (58, 28a) vom Wandabschnitt (13a) bzw. Bodenabschnitt (11) getrennt ist dergestalt, daß der innere Stegabschnitt (26a) beim Herumlegen des Zuschnitts um das Behältergebinde - gegebenenfalls vom zugeordneten Behälter (21) unterstützt - verschwenkt wird und sich an die Behälterwandung anlegt.
