Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0247463A2] A lift-car door consists of two door leaves 1, 1' which are composed of vertically arranged bars 2 in parallel next to one another. The bars 2 are pivotably connected to one another by connecting means 3 in the form of straps. Two rotary shafts 4, 4' movable in opposite directions serve to displace the door leaves 1, 1'. The rotary shafts 4, 4' carry spur gears 5, 5' which engage between the bars 2 with their teeth 6. The guides in which the door leaves 1, 1' hang or run are bent towards the rear and lie there in the configuration of loops or spirals close beside the car 8. Profiled supporting strips are provided between the bars 2. <IMAGE>
