[origin: EP0247542A1] An integrated microwave circuit having a dielectric substrate on the one side of which there is arranged a penetrating metallic coating and on the other side of which there is arranged at least one component (2) with two strip lines (3, 4) connected to it, and having at least one tuning element (12). In this case, the tuning element is used for compensating for the interfering parallel capacitance (6) of the component, by generating an inductance. The tuning element contains at least one coupled strip line, which is short-circuited at the end (13), is arranged on the substrate and whose terminals are connected to the component leads. With respect to minimising the earth capacitance of the tuning element, preferably two additional short-circuited, coupled strip lines (12, 14) are provided, which are arranged on both sides of the active component of the integrated microwave circuit. <IMAGE>
