[origin: EP0248684A2] Framework intended to ensure the fixing and evenness of a covering or false ceiling on a support which is regular or otherwise, damp or out of plumb, it is characterised by: a metal clamp (1) whose main face has an orifice in which the fixing screw is engaged, and two wings whose end is folded inwards; a wooden lath (10) having two rabbets on one face and which is cut substantially identically to the clamp (1). The clamp is fixed to the support by a screw, the screwing of which permits compensation of the irregularities of the support, while reserving between these elements a ventilation space into which an insulant can be inserted. The lath is secured to the clamps simply by snapping in. <IMAGE>
