Abstract (en)
In a spark plug for internal combustion engines an annular earthing electrode is located concentrically to a centrally-situated centre electrode. The relative position of the earthing and centre electrode is selected in such a way that the earthing electrode is arranged to project axially in front of the centre electrode.

Bei einer Zündkerze für Brennkraftmaschinen befindet sich eine ringförmige Masseelektrode konzentrisch zu einer zentrisch angeordneten Mittelelektrode. Die Relativlage von Masse- und Mittelelektrode ist dabei so gewählt, da die Masseelektrode in axialer Richtung vorstehend vor der Mittelelektrode angeordnet ist.
