[origin: EP0249474A2] A cleaning composition, suitably in the form of a personal washing bar contains fatty acyl isethionate and by weight of the composition at least 0.002% of each of an antioxidant, a sequestering agent for iron and a sequestering agent for copper. The presence of the antioxidant and the sequestering agents improves the shelf life of the products.
