In relation to a card-clothing element for textile preparation machines, in particular combing machines, carding machines or the like, comprising one or more sawtooth blanks of which each has a foot for attachment to a support structure and one or more teeth extending away from the foot and inclined in the working direction (D) whose tips have relative to the foot a predetermined distance defined as tip height (H), it is proposed that combing and fibre flux are improved when, viewed perpendicularly to the particular working direction (D), the teeth (5, 6) of the sawtooth blanks (1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, 22, 23) have at least two different tip heights (H). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Garnitur für Textilvorbereitungsmaschinen, insbesondere Kämm-Maschinen, Karden od.dgl., umfassend ein Sägezahn-Stanzteil oder eine Mehrzahl von Sägezahn-Stanzteilen, wovon jedes ein der Halterung an einem Grundkörper dienendes Fußteil und einen bzw. eine Mehrzahl sich von diesem wegerstreckender, in Bearbeitungsrichtung (D) geneigter Zähne aufweist, deren Spitzen gegenüber dem Fußteil einen vorbestimmten Abstand definiert als Spitzenhöhe (H) aufweisen, ist zur Verbesserung der Auskämmung und des Faserflusses vorgesehen, daß gesehen senkrecht zu der jeweiligen Bearbeitungsrichtung (D), die Zähne (5, 6) der Sägezahn-Stanzteile (1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, 22, 23) wenigstens zwei unterschiedliche Spitzenhöhen (H) aufweisen.
