[origin: EP0249826A2] The mixing container has a collecting container for collecting or storing material to be mixed and a collector for receiving part charges originating from different charges of the material from the collecting container, and a discharge hopper having a discharge orifice at the lower end thereof for discharging the mixed material. In and/or on the collector (3), a plurality of obliquely downward- inclined backing surfaces (6, 6a) are located which back up part charges at least temporarily. A vibrating or jarring unit sets the backing surfaces into jarring motions or vibrations in order to shake off part charges backed up thereon onto at least one obliquely downward-inclined sliding surface (2c) which leads to the discharge orifice (2a). <IMAGE>
