[origin: US4771905A] A tight screw cap having a cylindrical outside skirt threaded on the inside surrounding a pan bottom having a circular bottom wall surrounded by a cylindrical lateral wall connecting it to the upper edge of the outside skirt of the cap. The outside diameter of this lateral cylindrical wall corresponds to the inside diameter of the threaded upper end of the neck of the container, the length of the cylindrical wall being less than that of the cylindrical skirt. The bottom wall of the pan bottom is connected to its lateral cylindrical wall by a part in the shape of a crown of bitruncated section delimiting, at the periphery of the bottom wall, an annular groove of approximately annular section projecting, in relation to the bottom wall, from the same side as the free end of the outside skirt.

Ce bouchon est du type présentant une jupe extérieure cylindrique (3) filetée intérieurement entourant un fond cuvette (4), c'est-à-dire un fond possédant une paroi de fond circulaire (7) entourée par une paroi cylindrique latérale (8) la reliant au bord supérieur (3a) de la jupe extérieure (3) du bouchon, le diamètre extérieur de cette paroi cylindrique latérale (8) correspondant au diamètre intérieur de l'extrémité supérieure filetée (1 la) du col (11) du récipient et sa longueur étant inférieure à celle de la jupe extérieure cylindrique (3).La paroi de fond (7) du fond cuvette (4) est reliée à sa paroi latérale cylindrique (8) par une partie (12) en forme de couronne, de section transversale bi-tronconique délimitant, à la périphérie de la paroi de fond (7), une gorge annulaire (13) de section sensiblement triangulaire en saillie, par rapport à la paroi de fond (7), de même côté que l'extrémité libre de la jupe extérieure (3).
