Smoke protection closure for smoke-tight sealing of openings in walls and/or ceilings, especially for areas connected by transport rails, having a sliding panel (6) slidable in guides (5) parallel to the wall or ceiling, in which seals (21) are provided between wall or ceiling and sliding panel (6), which increase in volume when the temperature rises, characterised in that the guides are formed as guide channels (5) which have a metal profile (19) and a sliding strip (21), which are relatively slidable, in which the sliding strip (21) is comprised of a synthetic material which swells up and forms the seal.

Es wird ein Rauchschutzabschluß zum rauchdichten Verschließen von Öffnungen (3) in Wänden und/oder Decken (4), insbesondere für durch Transportschienen (7) verbundene Räume, vorgeschlagen, der einen parallel zur Wand oder Decke (4) verschiebbaren Schieber (6) aufweist. Der Schieber (6) ist in Gleitführungen (5) geführt, die jeweils ein Metallprofil (19) und eine Schiebeleiste (21) aufweisen. Metallprofil (19) und Schiebeleiste (21) sind gegeneinander verschiebbar angeordnet. Die Schiebeleiste (21) besteht aus einem Kunststoff, der bei erhöhter Temperatur aufquillt.
