[origin: WO8605355A1] The plant pot is used for growing plants with a permanently dwarfed habit and comprises a plant vessel placed in a receiving vessel. The plant vessel is made of a soft, elastic material, such as, for example, soft foam or rubber. The plant vessel has a plant cavity of a suitably reduced size for accommodating nutrient substrate and the root cluster of the plant. To supply the plant with water, a porous component can be provided on a bottom surface of the receiving vessel. The porous component extends into and through an opening in the plant vessel. Water is supplied to the plant vessel from a gap between the receiving and plant vessels, soaks into the porous component and is released therefrom to the nutrient substrate in the plant cavity at a steady, controlled rate. If the soft and elastic material of the plant vessel is capable of absorbing and releasing some water, it may have an external water impermeable coating to avoid escape of water and, if necessary, to prevent the growth of thick roots through the plant vessel.

Un pot de fleurs est utilisé pour cultiver des plantes naines et comprend un récipient pour plante placé dans un récipient récepteur. Le récipient pour plante est constitué en un matériau souple et élastique tel que, par exemple, de la mousse ou de caoutchouc souples. Le récipient pour la plante comprend une cavité pour la plante de dimensions réduites appropriées pour loger le substrat nutritif et l'ensemble des racines de la plante. Pour approvisionner la plante en eau, un composant poreux peut être placé sur une surface inférieure du récipient récepteur. Le composant poreux pénètre dans une ouverture du récipient pour la plante.
