[origin: WO8703999A1] An ignition system for internal combustion engines comprises a circuit starting from a source of current (1) and containing the primary winding (6) of an ignition coil (7) and an induction coil (5) with a magnetically conductive core (11) connected in series to the primary winding (6). This core is at least an almost totally closed core, with the advantage that the voltage occurring at the secondary winding (9) when the primary winding (6) is turned on is considerably reduced, thus preventing the appearance of closing sparks and an early inflammation of the fuel-air-mixture.

Une installation d'allumage pour moteurs à combustion interne comprend un circuit qui part d'une source de courant (1) et qui contient l'enroulement primaire (6) d'une bobine d'allumage (7) et une bobine d'inductance (5) à noyau magnétiquement conducteur (11) connectée en série avec l'enroulement primaire (6). Ce noyau (11) est un noyau presque fermé, ce qui a l'avantage de réduire considérablement la tension transmise à l'enroulement secondaire (9) lors de la mise sous tension de l'enroulement primaire (6), en évitant l'apparition d'étincelles de fermeture et un allumage précoce du mélange d'air et de carburant.
