[origin: WO8704302A1] The contact (1) comprises a body having a tail section (5) and dual tine contact portions (3a, 3b). The tail section is a first plate-like structure longitudinally extending from the dual tine contact portion and oriented about its axis at 90<o> with respect to the dual tine contact portions which are second plate-like structures. At the end of the dual tine contact portions are located contact surfaces (9a, 9b) which are third plate-like structures, and are oriented about 90<o> with respect to the longitudinal axis with reference to the dual tine contact portions and are each in a plane substantially parallel to the plane of the tail section. This construction provides reduced size while maintaining high normal contact force when the contact is employed to establish electrical connection with a pin contact.

Le contact à faible force d'introduction (1) comprend un corps ayant une section de queue (5) et des portions de contact à double dent (3a, 3b). La section de queue est une première structure en forme de plaque s'étendant longitudinalement depuis la portion de contact à double dent et orientée autour de son axe à 90o par rapport aux portions de contact à double dent qui sont des secondes structures en forme de plaque. A l'extrémité des portions de contact à double dent se trouvent des surfaces de contact (9a, 9b) qui sont des troisièmes structures en forme de plaque et sont orientées environ à 90o par rapport à l'axe longitudinal en référence aux portions de contact à double dent et se trouvent chacune dans un plan sensiblement parallèle au plan de la section de queue. Cette construction permet de réduire les dimensions tout en conservant une force de contact normale élevée lorsque le contact est utilisé pour établir une connection électrique avec un contact à broche.
