Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0250612A1] 1. A frame structure base with connecting elements arranged at its ends for connection to a quick-erection frame structure, comprising a one-piece or multi-piece hollow box provile (1) of metal, which extends over the length of the frame structure base and which is provided at its ends with terminal elements (2) which entirely or partially consist of elastically yielding rubber or plastics material and which each have an outside portion (4) projecting at the end beyond the hollow box profile (1) and at least one fixing portion (3) extending into the cavity of the hollow box profile (1), characterised in that the terminal elements (2) are provided with receiving openings (6) extending vertically with respect to the plane of the frame structure base, for holding pins on the frame structure, and that the fixing portions (3) of the terminal elements (2) are connected to the hollow box profile (1) by pressed-in rivets (5a, 5b) which extend perpendicularly to the plane of the frame structure base and which are surrounded by elastic rubber or plastics material in the region of the fixing portion (3), wherein the internal width of the hollow box profile (1), the thickness of the fixing portion (3) and the length of the pressed-in rivets (5a, 5b) are matched to each other in such a way that in the region surrounding the rives (5a, 5b) the elastically yielding rubber or plastics material of the fixing portion (3) is subjected to a strong elastic compression stress due to deformation of the wall of the hollow box profile (1).
