Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0250963A2] The invention relates to such a device, in which an eccentric shaft is provided which is mounted in a rotatable manner in the side frame of the machine and accommodates in a rotatable manner a pre-gripper shaft, which is under the influence of a cam, the eccentric shaft being firmly attached to a gearwheel which is in constant engagement with a drive gearwheel rotating with the printing cylinder. <??>In order to provide, in a device of the described nature, interlocking and consequently co-operating drive parts and a co-axial arrangement of the drive shafts and driven shafts to introduce the additional movement, which is superimposed upon the continuous rotation of the pre-gripper cam as it lifts out, the eccentric shaft (14) is rotatably mounted in a housing shell (15) on the side frame (5) and in the opposite side-frame of the machine. The pre-gripper shaft (16) is under the influence of triple cam discs (9, 10, 11), attached to the side frame (5) of the machine, via cam followers (6, 7, 8), which are attached to a connecting rod (3), which bears in a rotatable manner on the gripper shaft (16). At a hinge point (17) on the connecting rod (3) is articulated a trailing lever (4), which is articulated at a further hinge point (18), eccentric in a gearwheel (19). <IMAGE>
