[origin: US4796802A] The invention relates to a pack for filling materials which are capable of flow, comprising a tube which is formed by at least one longitudinal sealing seam and which has a bottom and a top mounted to the ends thereof, of which the top has a pouring opening in the vicinity of its outer edge, wherein the tube comprises carrier material, for example cardboard, which is coated with thermoplastic material at least on one side, and the bottom is quadrangular and is formed from the folded-over tube of the pack in the form of a fold closure.

Beschrieben wird eine Packung für fließfähige Füllgüter mit einem durch mindestens eine Längssiegelnaht gebildeten Tubus (1), an dessen Enden Boden (3) und Deckel (4) angebracht sind, von denen der Deckel (4) in der Nähe seiner Außenkante eine Ausgießöffnung (5) hat, wobei der Tubus (1) aus mindestens einseitig mit thermoplastischem Kunststoff beschichtetem Trägermaterial, z.B. Karton, besteht, der Boden (3) viereckig ist und aus dem umgefalteten Tubus (1) der Packung als Faltverschluß ausgebildet ist. Damit bessere Ausgieß- und Stapelmöglichkeiten und dennoch eine preiswerte Herstellung der Packung möglich sind, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der Deckel (4) mindestens vier Ecken und mindestens eine erste (20) und eine zweite Ebene (21) aufweist, die einen Winkel (α) einschließen und von denen die erste Ebene (20) parallel zur Ebene des Bodens (3) liegt, und daß mindestens die zweite Ebene (21) aus dem Tubusmaterial gebildet ist.
